		Homage to Katzow-Hovering Series
		1998, water reeds over steel frame, 18’h 45’l 14’d Katzow Sculpture Park, Katzow, Germany
		This sculpture park was at one time marshland. The water reeds used in the sculpture are of this land and are a part of the culture. The people of this region have thatched the roofs of their houses with these reeds for centuries. Soon the surface will turn a uniform gray that turns to a rich brown color in the rain; eventually it will be covered with a velvety green moss.
