Indigenous stones create a ‘ghost ship’ that appeared to float on the sand just a few feet from the shoreline during low tide. The changing tides shifted the sand beneath and around the stones creating varying formations daily. Each night an equal number of alcohol lamps defined the outer edge of the ‘ship’ while bundles of incense burned for and aft creating a Beacon in the night sky.
