| As the wax accumulates and cascades downward, each ‘offering’ supports the other, creating an accumulative structure that mirrors our collective human experience. In this way, the sculpture documents its own life cycle. Lava flows, soil erosions, water and wind currents create similar structures in the natural world. The flickering light and aroma emitted by the candles enhances the ‘spiritual’ nature of the piece. | ||||||||||
